Claudio Simonetti – College (Bottin Edit)

Another good italo disco tune from Bottin. I told you about his recent collaboration with Francisco and Rodion a few days ago.

Here’s how Bottin explains his edit:

“If you lived in Italy in the late 80s you most certainly have been exposed to the dreadful TV show this track was written for. You may not be aware that this was produced by Claudio Simonetti of Goblin Fame. I had to get rid of 99,9% of the vocals so I could play this out to non-Italian audiences without having rotten vegetables thrown at me. What remains is some sort of incidental spring break house anthem. I guess.”

We love it. However, the original is not *that* bad, too. Except the male vocals. I hate them. Good decision that he got rid of them.
