Leisure – Early Morning Skies

A very nice surprise I found in my mailbox today! One of the best tracks I’ve heard this week is called “Early Morning Skies”, performed by Boston act Leisure. They are Jed Rouhana (the frontman who was born in Jerusalem to a Palestinian father and an American mother), Sam Hamad and Christopher Link.

The band has been recording their debut album since touring with Girls last year. It looks like they’re finally ready to drop some of the tracks on “Plastic Soul” LP which is, in their own words, “the sound of their implosion and collapse.”
