There were a lot of good tracks sent to our mailbox in the past few weeks (or months) that somehow didn’t make it on Nite Versions on time. Here’s a bunch of them!
First, we have a new tune from RAC’s Andrew Maury who remixed ‘Concrete Wall’, a single performed by 25 years old Malaysian singer/songwriter Zee Avi.
Goldroom, the solo effort of Josh from NightWaves, drops a new song titled ‘Angeles’. Dedicated to the city he calls home, this track captures the sun soaked vibe of LA with an almost disco-reggae sound.
“Museum is Mathieu Zub, self-taught guitarist and instrumentalist, has its range in various rock bands before discovering the Analog Synths and dancefloors when it incorporates Black Strobe in 2007 as a guitar player. Inspired by Blade Runner, Planet of the apes, Shining, Alien music soundtracks, Museum produces powerful and hypnotic tracks for the dancefloor.”
His debut EP was released January 23. Stream it in its entirety here.
As I already told you, New Build is Al Doyle and Felix Martin from Hot Chip, together with Tom Hopkins who worked on their album “One Night Stand”, plus LCD Soundsystem drummer Pat Mahoney & Janine Rostron from Planningtorock.
The rest of the tracks on ‘Yesterday Was Lived And Lost’ LP can be found here. It’s out March 5, 2012.
Here’s a little indie pop from Basement Batman – a Bushwick, Brooklyn, NY based trio. The band is releasing a debut album soon, ‘Season 1′.
