The past 365 days were massive!
It’s already 2012 and that’s our final chart for the previous year. Nite Versions already compiled the best songs and videos for 2011. Now it’s time for the coolest part – the list of greatest albums for 2011.
It’s a very hard task to pick 16 albums you’ve liked the most – there are so many good releases and I wish I could put all of them on that list. Find out which are the finest 16 of 2011 in Nite Versions’ opinion.
Cheers and I hope this year will be even stronger speaking of new releases!

#1
Metronomy – The English Riviera
A toast for Metronomy’s third album, ‘The English Riviera’. That’s an album you wish it was 20 or maybe 30 tracks longer. Each song is a pure perfection.
It deserves to be on the top of Nite Versions Best Albums of 2011.

#5 The Rapture
In The Grace Of Your Love

#9 Yuksek
Living On The Edge Of Time

#13 Rimer London

#2
Washed Out – Within And Without
One of those LPs that changed (or maybe upgraded) my music taste in 2011. I’ve never been into chillwave/lo-fi/glo-fi before I started to get into Washed Out.
If there’s someone who became that popular without even expecting it, that’s Ernest Greene. It’s just because he loves what he does, and so does the audience.

#6 Justice
Audio, Video, Disco

#10 Cut Copy
Zonoscope

#14 Bibio
Mind Bokeh

#3
Holy Ghost! – Holy Ghost!
Holy Ghost!’s self-titled debut album is another piece that has no mistake from song #1 till the end. I wish there were more dance/electronic records like this one.

#7 Big Black Delta
BBDLP1

#11 M83
Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming

#15 Friendly Fires
Pala

#4
Housse de Racket – Alésia
A pure synth rock gem! I’ve expected more from Housse de Racket with their second album… and they did delivered an incredible piece of work.

#8 Hooray For Earth
True Loves

#12 Siriusmo
Mosaik
