I’m totally into Holy Ghost!’s new video. The duo premiered the clip for their latest single, “I Wanted To Tell Her”, featuring vocals and appearance from Juan Maclean, LCD Soundsystem’s Nancy Whang and Jay Green.

It was directed by Ben Fries of Deadhorse Films, known for his work on previous videos from Holy Ghost! – “Wait & See“, “Hold My Breath“, “I Know I Hear“, and “I Will Come Back.”

“The director sets the scene at a school-sponsored homecoming dance from the 80s — fuzzy gymnasium glow, awkwardly teased hair and sequined sweaters included.”

I remember the last time I enjoyed a 80s inspired music video – when Grum dropped his “Through The Night.”
